In the Spotlight: Disney’s Newport Bay Club

Hello! Welcome to our first ‘In the Spotlight’ blog post. We thought it would be great to solely dedicate blog posts from time to time on just one hotel, so you get a full insight. To start off, we’re talking about one of our favourite Disney® Hotels, Disney’s Newport Bay Club.

Disney’s Newport Bay Club is a recently renovated 4 Key (or star) Disney® Hotel overlooking the shores of Lake Disney®. It’s just a short 10-minute walk from both of the Disney® Parks, Disney Village® and the main railway station (Marne La Vallee), where you will find the Eurostar terminal. There is also a free shuttle bus to and from the Disney® Parks which is handy when you have been on your feet all day!

There are 9 different room types at Disney’s Newport Bay Club, ranging from a Superior Room, a charming nautical themed room sleeping a maximum of 4 adults plus 1 infant, to a Presidential Suite, located in the Compass Club, with views of Lake Disney®. These Suites sleep a maximum of 4 adults, 2 children plus 1 infant OR 5 adults plus 1 infant and also includes a large living room. When booking a Suite, guests can also take advantage of these fantastic extras:

• Access to private lounge

• Private reception desk

• Snacks from 4pm – 5.30pm

• Tea and espresso facilities

• American buffet breakfast

• VIP FASTPASS®

If you’re travelling over the Christmas season, upgrade to a Christmas Themed room, Why? Because the only way that you can make a trip to Disneyland® Paris even more magical is by adding an extra sprinkle of Christmas. This fantastic seasonal extra is available for Superior Rooms and costs an additional £246.26* (but we feel it’s worth every penny!). Decor includes:

• Stickers (front door, bathroom)

• Decorated Christmas tree (artificial)

• Window garland

• 2 Christmas themed bed scarves

• 1 Christmas themed plush per child

• A Set of 2 Christmas themed mugs

You can find the full range of room types here.

TOP TIP: Many are unaware that there are hot drinks dispensers in the corridors and guests in Superior Rooms are entitled to one drink per person, per day for FREE. Those in Compass Club Rooms and Suites will have their own tea/coffee making facilities in their rooms and can also make use of the lounge during their stay for hot and cold drinks throughout the day.

Whichever room type, all guests can benefit from free WiFi, free parking and a luggage storage facility. Other facilities include; babysitting services, dry cleaning services, valet parking and room service (all available at an additional cost). There is also a Disney boutique where you can pick up some magical souvenirs.

There are a number of leisure facilities at Disney's Newport Bay Club, including a heated indoor and outdoor pool*, sauna, steam bath and fitness centre. Perfect for some family time whilst taking a break from the Parks or having an early morning chill out before the magical madness begins.

You are spoilt for choice with dining options at this hotel, with restaurants Cape Cod and Yacht Club to choose from and Captains Quarters bar to provide you with a nautical themed night cap. What’s more, if you have booked a Plus or Premium Meal Plan, you will be able to use your meal vouchers at these restaurants. From 1st April 2019, all guests staying at Disney’s Newport Bay Club with any meal plan will be able to have their breakfast at either Cape Cod or Yacht Club^.
